Larissa Started working at Village Dental Practice February 2018. Larissa has been in dentistry for 3 years, starting as a trainee dental nurse. Larissa then went on to gain NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing 2017. Larissa then has gained more knowledge working with oral surgeons and implantologists.
Larissa is now developing her career in density within Obex as practice manager, she strives to maintain a happy practice with happy patients and happy staff.
In her spare time she enjoy socialising with friends, spending time with her family, and shopping of course.
Louise started at the practice as a trainee dental nurse, once qualified felt passionate towards endodontics and attended courses with the dentist she worked with. Alongside this Louise became responsible for the trainee nurses and their in house training.
Louise holds the position of head nurse, this covers a wide range of clinical duties. Louise is responsible for the clinical side of the practice but still enjoys being in surgery especially if a root canal treatment is planned. Currently Louise is supporting a second practice which allows her to develop her skills of communication and leadership.
Louise is involved in training of the nurses. She is the arching mentor between Kings College and Obex, offering advice, support and help to keep the student nurses on track with their studying. Louise plans to develop her training skills further with a qualification in this area in the future.
In her spare time Louise likes to relax with her loved ones, plan future travels and enjoys a good read. She also enjoys to hand make items for her home.
Sarah has been a receptionist at Village dental practice since July 2014. Sarah enjoys building relationships with patients helping their experience at the dentist to be a good one. She loves being part of the team and feels she is part of one big family.
Sarah is an animal lover and is currently mum to 3 guinea pigs. In her spare time Sarah enjoys visiting the cinema to watch the latest films and spending time with family and friends.
Mia started her receptionist role at Stopsley Village Dental Practice in October 2018. Mia is a very bubbly and outgoing person who enjoys helping patients and building great relations with them so they feel part of the Obex family.
When she is not working, Mia socialises with friends and travelling.
Agata has been working for the company since September 2016. Agata enjoys working on reception and finds working in dentistry very interesting. She would like to progress within the company in the future. Agata is great with patients and has previously worked in customer service, she likes to put people at ease and help make the patients experience at the dentist a good one.
In her spare time Agata enjoys keeping fit and spending time with her family.
Claire has been working at Village dental practice since September 2016, she enjoying meeting the patients and keeping herself busy with reception tasks. Claire has a very friendly nature and is a calming influence to our patients.
In her spare time Claire enjoys baking and spending time with her friends and family.
Nina started with Obex in 2013 and has now been qualified for 2 years. She has worked at all the sites within the company, this has given her extensive knowledge of working with a variety of dentists. She left the company in 2016 to have a baby then returned to us a year later. Nina has also gained experience in orthodontics, in this area she worked alongside young children giving her experience in handling young children who may be fearful.
Nina likes to get hands on during treatment and enjoys working with the hygienist. Nina plans to develop herself through further training and is looking forward to starting her radiography course with the company soon. Nina also enjoys spending time with trainee nurses, helping them with their college work and exam preparation.
In her spare time she enjoys spending quality with her little girl & family.
Tia started at village dental practice in April 2015 as a Trainee dental nurse and is currently attending Kings College London to obtain her qualification in Dental nursing. She enjoys helping patients to maintain their smile and confidence by reassuring them in the dental chair with her calming nature. Tia loves the chairside support she offers to the dentist she is working with and to the patients.
In her spare time Tia works with her Dad serving Caribbean food, spending time with her family and dining out with friends.
Trainee Dental Nurse
Rumla has been working at Village Dental Practice on reception since December 2014. Since then, Rumla has a great interest in dentistry so she has now taken a big step in her career, becoming a trainee Dental nurse. With her calming nature she enjoys assisting patients from the elderly to children.
In her spare time Rumla likes to cook and enjoys reading.
Trainee Hifza Munir
Hifza joined village dental practice in March 2016 as a trainee dental nurse and is studying via Kings College London and the NEBDN to achieve her diploma in dental nursing. Hifza loves meeting and working with new people and believes in providing the best experience for all our service users. Hifza believes in transparent, honest dentistry and is passionate about providing exceptional care.
Hifza is a very family orientated person and in her free time loves spending time with family and friends. Hifza also enjoys other activities such as dining, shopping and travelling.
Trainee Dental Nurse
Alessandra has been working at Village dental practice as a Trainee dental nurse for 14 months and is thoroughly enjoying it. Before taking the route into dental nursing Alessandra worked as a senior healthcare assistant where she gained a great deal of experience working and caring for people.
In her spare time Alessandra enjoys spending quality time with her children, travelling and a karaoke night.
